You can look at OpenSC implementation it works both for libtool-1.5
and libtool-2.
Maybe I am doing something wrong... But at least it works... :)
I will be happy to know if there is a better way.
I have the followings:
RCCOMPILE = $(RC) $(DEFS) $(DEFAULT_INCLUDES) $(INCLUDES) \
$(AM_CPPFLAGS) $(CPPFLAGS)
LTRCCOMPILE = $(LIBTOOL) --mode=compile --tag=RC $(RCCOMPILE)
.rc.lo:
$(LTRCCOMPILE) -i "$<" -o "$@"
.rc.o:
$(RCCOMPILE) -i "$<" -o "$@"
