Patchy said 'differences', not 'problems'. Any fix involving horizontal  
spacing causes many small differences.  Patchy is only a robot; you need to  
run the regression test yourself to see if any are problems.  (I'll explain  
what I see under issue 2493.)

Re-uploading the patch that only adds the macro would be reasonable, now  
that issue 2493 preserves the information about the bug found.
