http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2589It is not, as far as I can see, "critical" as in "no stable version should be released before this is fixed". And that's basically the only distinction from "defect" that we nowadays make: other priorities are implicit in the personal priorities of whoever chooses tackling the issue.
