Attached is a complete mini test-suite to illustrate this problem.  It can  
be run with the command line:

$LILYPOND_BUILD_DIR/out/bin/lilypond -dpaper-size=\"a6\" -dread-file-list  
-fpng "files.txt"

Output is also attached.  You will see that test1 comes out at A6  
(correct).  test2 is A7 [correct - set using  
#(set-default-paper-size "a7")].  test3 retains the a7 size, but should  
revert to a6.
