There's a command-line option that allows to include an arbitrary file when  
calling lilypond, but you cannot use it to specify more than one file.

For example, i want to compile myfile.ly with foo.ly and bar.ly (which  
contain some layout settings) included.  If i call lilypond like this:

lilypond -dinclude-settings="foo.ly" -dinclude-settings="bar.ly" myfile.ly

only bar.ly will be included.
