Subject: | [Lilypond-auto] [LilyIssues-auto] [testlilyissues:issues] #5285 Redundancy in the LM regarding `\omit` and `\hide` |

I still am not sure what is being asked for here?
Is this just a complaint that we say something more than once in a different section of the Learning Manual? I don't think this is a bad thing in the Learning manual especially as the information is in separate sub sections (albeit in the same 'section').

The Learning Manual explains about controlling the visibility of objects, including the differences between \omit
and \hide
(and the underlying overrides), in section 4.3.1. Section 4.7.1.ii ‘Simulating a fermata in MIDI’ http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/learning/other-uses-for-tweaks#simulating-a-fermata-in-midi then repeats some of this explanation.
