I hope you know about the program convert-ly and that you can run
convert-ly -s
to get a quick overview of what has changed in the different versions.

Hi,
I recently started a new project with Lilypond 2.3.22 (still on 2.2.x on
my other machine) and while I was trying to find out what exactly
changed in the syntax, I noticed considerable improvement in the
documentation, specifically the tutorial part, with a whole set of new
templates and a clear explanation of how contexts etc. work.
Just wanted to say: great work! Thanks!
