Patch: small tweak to \betweenLilyPondSystem

From: Bernard Hurley
Subject: Patch: small tweak to \betweenLilyPondSystem
Date: Sun, 17 Apr 2005 02:23:19 +0100

Added to Changelog:

2005-04-17  Bernard Hurley  <address@hidden>

        * scm/framework-eps: When \betweenLilyPondSystem is defined
        systems are in separate paragraphs.

Rationale:

Some LaTeX commands do not take effect until the end of the paragraph -
in this case after all the systems - to get this functionality the macro
\postLilyPondExample can already be used. If someone is making use of
the \betweenLilyPondSystem macro then they probably want to do some
formatting that requires the systems to be in separate paragraphs. OTOH
for reasons already discussed on the list, the default should be that
the systems are all in the same paragraph. The attached patch achieves
this.

It does mean that the behaviour after:

        \newcommand\betweenLilyPondSystem[1]{}

is different to not defining the macro at all. But I think that anyone
who has got this far into using lilypond-book could easily cope and in
all other cases the the behaviour is more intuitive and more useful.

 /Bernard
