"our" code? What did you contribute, then?

I meant "we", referring to developers in general, and any code we may write.

Getting you up and running in your personal favorite environment is something Jan and I could do. However it would take us a lot of time, a resource which is very precious for us, and it doesn't buy us anything. Therefore, we don't feel like doing it.

But that's not what I'm asking for. I would just like to see some amount of
acceptance among lilypond developers that not everyone works in the
same environment, and willingness to accommodate those who choose
different environments, for whatever reason.
And, as I suggested before, it doesn't seem unreasonable to at least
provide links to the various versions of things that are known to be needed.

Right now, we see someone who sends around a lot of non-constructive e-mail and no code.

I did send some code actually, admittedly not as proper patch contribution,
but you didn't seem terribly interested in it.

As you will understand, the more mail without code you send, the less serious we will take you.

Well, I do believe I'm capable of making constructive contributions towards
lilypond. But the idea of fighting against a "there is only linux" culture doesn't
really attract me.
