Turn Off No. Symbol in Title

The title of a piece I'm typesetting contains the text "No", 
which is automatically turned into the Number 
symbol by Lilypond.  
I've tried to force it to just set the text as I wrote by using 
Latex override {No}, but 
that doesn't work. 
 Is there a way to force the title to be exactly as I wrote it, 
without the No. symbol?
