Hi Sebatino,
I would like to extend Graham's request. I had to search for quite some time
at LSR to find the version number at all, even though it's now included
in the
"Contributing" page. This information is crucial for any user who wants to
use an example from the LRS. I was very surprised to see that none of the
examples (at least none of the examples I looked into) contained any
\version
directive. If you follow the lilypond-user mailing list, you will quickly
notice that we have people regularly using both versions 2.6, 2.8 and 2.9
(and some using even older versions) out there. I realize that it's too
much
job for you to maintain several versions of the LSR, but if each snippet
at least contains a \version directive, then the user will at least get
a warning
when he/she tries to run an example that doesn't fit the LilyPond version.
Regards
/Mats

Hi Sebatino,
Would it be possible to modify LSR?
1) Could the version number of lilypond be displayed on
http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/html/contributing.html
- the "versioning" section of the "editing a snippet" view. (sorry, no
URL because it's generated in a separate window)
2) If it isn't already, could LSR be updated to use lilypond 2.8 ?
Cheers,
- Graham
