I can't reproduce this, but it seems that your version of list-join doesn't work.

can you investigate whether the list-join function works for you, and if no, why not?


Yes, eventually (I have 3 deadlines next week, 2 papers and 1 presentation :-(, so I may try to have a look next weekend into it, as I guess that may take some time...).

By the way, could it be related to a character encoding problem? I have a couple of programs on my system (Fedora Core 5) that have severe problems regarding encoding, especially when data is passed between apps; my system seems to assume a default encoding of sometimes utf-8, sometimes iso-latin.
