Ah, thanks. I didn't check the collated-files.html, but simply ran the .ly 
file through lilypond, where it generated three identical systems (I had to 
add the first empty system, because otherwise the first system would be quite 
different with the indentation and the time signature, so that the pixelwise 
identity would be hard to see).

I now re-worked the regression test to use three scores for the three methods 
instead of stuffing them all into the same score. This way, I got rid of the 
empty first system and still get three absolutely identical scores much 
easier.
