Currently, @seealso is defined as follows

and called like this:
@seealso
foo, bar,...
This causes ugly output in the PDF: After `See also', there is an
empty line which sticks out if compared to other paragraphs. Reason
is the address@hidden' command which is usually followed by an empty line.
I see various solutions:
. The easiest one is to not have an empty line after @seealso.
. Use @firstparagraphindent, probably be switched on and off with
@seealso
@endseealso
. Use something like
@seealso
@seeitem...
@seeitem...
@endseealso
