Agreed. We should also make sure gettext is looking at lilypond-doc PO
domain (not lilypond) in this case.

I had removed the _i wrappers around docstrings because the docstrings
didn't show in the docs; I was thinking about extracting docstrings for
building POT with a Scheme wrapper in documentation-generate.scm, but
your fix makes this half-solution (which would not catch strings other
than docstrings) useless. I might replace _i wrappers with _doc when I
get at i18n automatically generated documentation, though.
