I also tried that with no success. Having read the Guile manual,

thought adding the environment variable
GUILE_LOAD_PATH=C:\Program
Files\LilyPond might work, but it doesn't have any effect.
Ha! This whole time I was trying from DOS prompt with no success,
but I just typed guile into "Run" from the start menu, and
there it is!
