Has anyone managed to run git-cl under Windows successfully?
The version from github.com/gperciva/git-cl.git ships without the readline
module. It is not required for Unixes as it is included with Unix python, I
believe. But it is not included with the Windows version of python. There is
a Windows-only version of the readline module, but the installer does not want
to add this to the python implementation in LilyPond as it can find no entry
for python in the registry.
It would be good if GUB could take this into account and build in the readline
module into the python library for the Windows release, but I guess that is not
trivial.
In the meantime I'll try installing python from scratch and see if the readline
module will install then.
