Re NW2LY, I think you'll be OK if NW2LY itself is free software (but it didn't seem so to me?) and it is referred to as a solution to help users extract their music from a proprietary program. I.e. you can say "Here's how to go from [proprietary program name] to LilyPond", but you have to be careful not to suggest that [proprietary program name] is useful or worthwhile.
