I overlooked the fact that the denominators are the same, so

Bad example.  What if it were something like

- + ¢

Still no?  You don’t have to answer.  I’ll leave the output numeric and add 
cases with 2/2 and 4/4 to the regression tests.

I'd still say "no", but that's rather hypothetically because I need complex meter not very often (I composed a piece in 4/4+3/8 some time ago and choosed the numeric way ...)
