'make lilypond' fails with

  *** Stage: patch (odcctools, darwin-ppc)
sh: 1: ./32bit: not found
error: cannot run 32 bit executable: 32bit

You need to install 32bit glibc development support.

But even if you do so building on 18.04 is still broken (guile, python)
