Just successfully built and uploaded GUB :-)
Two further questions:
1. Is there any problem with doing the final file updates (i.e. VERSION)
into release/unstable and then opening a merge request from this branch?
Seems simpler that creating a new branch for this:
The process was (as in the CG):
git fetch
git checkout origin/staging
git merge origin/release/unstable
gedit VERSION
git commit -m "Release: bump VERSION." VERSION
git push origin HEAD:staging
2. The upload script adds a tag to the Savannah repo. I guess this needs
adding to the GitLab repo, too. Would this be a manual step now?
