Dear Lilypond developers!

At the turn of the year I received very sad news. Urs Liska, co-initiator and 
developer of OpenLilyLib, passed away on December 28, 2024 after a serious 
illness. I wish his family consolation and help in this dark and difficult time.
I met Urs on several occasions and always benefited from his commitment. Above 
all, however, I am very sad that this kind man had to go.
The gap he leaves behind in the Lilypond developer community already opened up 
when he had to retire due to his health. But now it is certain that he will not 
return and resume his work on OpenLilyLib and its subprojects. I sincerely hope 
that the legacy he leaves behind in this project will not be forgotten.
