Very sad news.

Thank you so much for the update, Jan-Peter; Urs and I have exchanged emails 
and WhatsApp messages over the past few years, and when he hadn’t returned any 
since the summer, I was concerned.

It was such an honour and pleasure to collaborate with Urs, and especially to 
get to know him in person at the conference. In all of our interactions, I 
learned so much — and about more than just Lilypond and coding.

A lovely man who will be missed.

The whole Lilypond community is still in your debt for that effort. Thank you 
for making it possible for so many of us to connect with Urs (and everyone else 
in the community).

My thoughts go out to Urs’s family and everyone close to him.
