        @cindex bar numbers
        @cindex measure numbers
        @cindex currentBarNumber

        Bar numbers are @internalsref{BarNumber} grobs. The number itself is a
        property that can be set by modifying the @code{currentBarNumber}
        property, i.e.
        @example
          \property Score.currentBarNumber = #217
        @end example
