Hello, Han-Wen:

Does anyone want to take on this task? It would be
very similar to existing code, so it is relatively easy.

I might be interested -- this could be a great way for me to "ease into the contributor pool" -- but I have a couple of questions:

1. Would this particular code be in C(++) or Scheme (or something else)?

2. Is the answer to #1 the language in which most of the code is written currently and/or is being migrated to? In other words, since I really know neither language currently, is an investment in the learning curve needed to handle this one "relatively easy" task going to pay off if and when I want to contribute more to CVS, or will I have to learn both languages anyway?

3. Is there a deadline on getting this done?

Thanks!
Kieren.
