According to

Barenreiter Verlag used Toppan Scan Note music software.
Apparently input required the use of three keyboards: Organ, QWERTY,
and a dedicated symbol palette.

it seems pretty primitive to me; tweaking in Illustrator
seems to be a requirement for a complete score.
