Page layout problems, revisited

        Greetings, all.

        Some time ago I reported on a problem I was having with the Lilypond
2.3 series not properly printing music I wanted to lay out in a
non-standard way. I received a response privately from another user who
was having a similar problem; life then intervened, and I am only now
able to return to the issue. The music in question is an organ piece of
my own composition, and is intended to be printed landscape on US letter
(8 1/2 in x 11 in) paper.

        adoro-2.2* were written for/generated by Lilypond 2.2 and show the
desired behavior; adoro-2.3* were written for/generated by Lilypond 2.3,
and don't do what I want.
        Any help will be most appreciated.
