I think you have read at the wrong place in the documentation.

The property you should alter is Staff.keySignature and is documented at
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.4/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond-internals/Key_005fengraver.html#Key_005fengraver
(assuming that you use version 2.4, please always tell when you send a question). There is an example called key-signature-scordatura.ly <http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.4/input/regression/out-www/lily-1890913516.ly> in the Regression Tests
document at www.lilypond.org, that shows how to do it.

Hi,

I try to engrave a contemporary piece with LilyPond. This piece has a key
with a c-sharp, f-sharp and a b-sharp in this order. I've tried to
manipulate the key with the following command:

\set Staff.localKeySignature = #'((3 . 2) (3 . 3))

However, there is no result. Has anyone have experience changing the key
like this?

Thanks and regards,

Guido
