Hello again!

I took Mats' advice and rechecked my text editor's (the default Text 
editor that came pre-installed with the machine) settings. I saved the 
test file as "text only" and used Latin 1 (Windows) encoding and voilá! 
Works like a charm. And boy does it look pretty...
