In the lilypond-indent.el file included in the debian package for 2.4.2
there seems to be an error in some conditional clause (I also get a
message about some `nil' being wrong), perhaps there was no change since
then and this might be your problem.

This is just a guess since I have no knowledge of lisp and don't use
emacs very often and not at all for lily.
