I'm sure there are windows python implementations that don't depend on
cygwin. Someone should write up instructions for installing one of
them and using the python scripts with them. And if the scripts
aren't in the regular package, make a package that has them.
I think it's important that the import scripts work at least in a
rudimentary way. People who already have a publishing package working
aren't going to try a new one if they can't import their previous
work. I've never tried MUP for exactly that reason.
