problems instal ling 2.7.4

having a problem installing 2.7.4. make works no problem, make install gives 
me this error:

not really sure what to do with this. I reinstalled info, but it didn't help. 
lilypond 2.6.1 with no problem, but had the same problem as above with 2.6.3

any ideas? running debian testing/unstable on ppc.
