I hope you have realized that the manual has an index, called "LilyPond 
Index" for some silly technical reasons. There, you
can search both for "line break" and "breaking lines".

Have you seen the music glossary included in the LilyPond documentation?

The example template for "Notes, Lyrics and Chords" in the manual
should be a good starting point. For the finger diagrams, you have to 
combine it with information in the section on "Fret diagrams"
(assuming that's what you were looking for).
