I prefer to start the command prompt from
Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
Also, you have to make sure that the command prompt is in the correct
folder. Use the command 'cd' to change folder (run 'cd /?' to learn how
it works, or read some introduction to DOS).

how can I use MIDI2ly? I'm unsure, since I'm using Windows.
Can someone help me?
Ben
go to start >> run
type: cmd
press enter
type: midi2ly my_midi_file.mid
press enter
if everything works, it should convert it.
