I could add that a clue to figure out Werner's solution is to first run the following example and read the log output from LilyPond: \version "2.10.0" \relative c'{ \displayMusic {c-\tweak #'font-size #-3 ^\flageolet } } /Mats Mats Bengtsson wrote:
