Thanks, I never would have thought of that. Until I tried it, I didn't
believe it would work, because I was assuming lily was placing notes
by counting lines, but it isn't; it's by measuring distances. I'm
attaching my first attempt at one of my friend's exercises; it will
need some tweaking, but someone else trying to do something similar
will be able to tweak it more easily than your example:
