When I install with the GUB, I can set:
LYEDITOR=emacsclient.emacs-snapshot --no-wait +%(line)s:%(column)s %(file)s
and put "urlCommand "lilypond-invoke-editor %s" into my .xpdfrc,
point-and click works for me in lilypond 10.33 on my Ubuntu Feisty
system with emacs-snapshot installed.
However, when I install the official Ubuntu package for lilypond 10.5,
when I try to click on the pdf image, I get:
lilypond-invoke-editor (GNU LilyPond) 2.10.5
ERROR: In procedure string-split:
ERROR: Wrong type argument in position 1 (expecting string): #f
I know the right thing is to find the place for reporting bugs in
ubuntu packages and figure out how to log in and write a bug and then
try to figure out how to reproduce it again when they ask you about it
by email several months later when you have a completely different
version installed. But I was hoping someone here might have enough
insight into how lilypond-invoke-editor works to be able to guess what
the problem is and maybe suggest a workaround.
