Win XP Notepad-related lilypond bugs

Hello,

I'm trying not to ask dumb questions, but I'm new here, so undoubtedly I
will from time to time.

Anyhow, two problems with Notepad when invoked via right-click menu for a
.ly file:

(1) - search does not work. At all. Doesn't matter how you invoke it (F3,
from menu, or Ctrl-F), which options you choose, it just never finds
anything. Notepad by itself works fine, so it seems likely this is a
lilypond bug.

(2) less critical, but still a negative user experience: when opening an .ly
file for editing, the focus goes to the previous window (for me that's
usually the Windows Explorer view of the directory) rather than to Notepad.
This runs counter to practically every other Windows program I've ever used
- and counter to the way Notepad works when run under its own power - and
has caused me to mistakenly close windows and waste a lot of keystrokes
before I remember to alt-tab back to my .ly file. A definite usability
deficit.

BTW, this happens on both my office machine (running XP Pro) and my laptop
(running XP Personal).

Also BTW, I searched the user forum to see if these bugs had been reported:
I got 154 hits, but Nabble only showed me 54 links and then stopped. So
apologies if these were in the other 100 that Nabble counted but didn't
list.

IIUC, user-identified bugs go in the user forum, rather than the bug forum.
Apologies if I got that wrong.

Best,

Daf (CSQE - could you tell?)
