Try setting \override MultiMeasureRest #'staff-position = #0.01 If you look in the source code, you will see that it treats the case staff-position=0.0 (i.e. the default setting) specially, so what my proposed workaround does is simply to fool LilyPond. /Mats Reinhold Kainhofer wrote:
