Re: padding tempo indication over multiple whole-bar rests?

It's much easier to answer such a question if you include the .ly code 
that you use to
typeset the indication. Please also tell what LilyPond version you use. 
Many of the
collision problems with version 2.10 or earlier are automatically 
handled in the
latest development version, 2.11.
