I second that.

Yep.

IMHO, long hyphens are extremely ugly.  If the distance between two
syllables becomes too big I prefer

  -  -  -  -

or something like that instead of a long hyphen.  At least this is the
traditional typesetting for classical music as used in Germany and
Austria.
