I am working on a song that has the second verse starting midway
thru the first verse, on a DS al Fine. I tried to place a \skip xx
where xx is the number of notes to skip but only skipped a couple
notes.
Yes. In lyrics the number following a \skip has to
be present, but it is ignored. A lyrics \skip skips
exactly one note of any duration.
What is the correct way to push the lyrics further into the melody
skipping the first 8 bars of music?
\repeat unfold xx round the \skip should do it,
where xx is the number of notes to skip.
