Please help me a bit with this sample .ly. I leveraged this template from
an editor called LilyPondTool, which has helped me in some resects, but it's not
obvious to me where the various style setup declarations need to go,
that will allow me to embed the \sustainOn and \sustainOff commands into the
melody to show the pedal action. Of course, I also want the sustains to
transfer into the .midi output.
I also welcome your references to LilyPond documentation and how you got
there...as I wasn't able to piece this puzzle together.
My futile trials can be seen commented out to show intent.
