It rather looks like it's a problem with
latex. Can you successfully run lily-book using different output
formats? Can you run latex standalone?

I am trying to get lilypond-book to work,
following the instructions available in the Lilypond 2.12 documentation
online. However, I am getting the following error:

This seems to be a path resolution problem, but I can't
understand what is causing the trouble.
