            Dear all,
is there really no way to simply add articulations/markups
            to chords
            in \chordmode?

            In 2.14.2
            \chordmode { c1\pp } works
            \chordmode { c1^"II" } doesn't (as mentioned in the docs).

Where in the doc?

James

Hi James,
it took me a while to find it again ;-) :
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/notation/chord-mode.html
"Known issues and warnings
Predefined shorthands for articulations and ornaments cannot be used on notes in chord mode, see Articulations and ornamentations <http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/notation/expressive-marks-attached-to-notes#articulations-and-ornamentations>."
