Yes, the "):" was problem. Doh!

I am new to this forum and to using Lilypond outside of an academic forum
(last time I was using it at university, around 2001, with folks I could ask
help for in person).

Hope you can clarify why

http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Snippet?id=838

produces code snippet

but

http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Item?u=1&id=838

produces typeset result.

Is this engraver part of the lilypond distr or, does one need to manually
add it to one's own ly files (i.e. via an input command or whatever)?
