I'm not sure whether the answer to this question should be "yes" or
"no", but i can say that the function of the LSR is to show pieces of
code doing some specific action.  These pieces don't have to be as
small as possible (sometimes they are quite long, like 100 lines of
code).

Minimal examples should be used when showing a bug (or a problem).

a bug-report should contain a minimal example and a description of the
problem.  Occasionally, the description might have to be quite long,
but the code example should always be as small as possible.
