In NR 1.7.1, Selecting notation font size, I have:
Font size changes are achieved by scaling the design size that is closest to the desired size.

What is design here?
All the pararagraph is well explained, except for this sentence.

Can you help me?

Thanks
Federico

The feta font has several design sizes:

When you specify a desired staff height (say 16.02), LilyPond chooses the closest font (in this case, feta 16, which has a staff height of 15.87) and scales it up to 16.02.

Ok, now I understand.
