2.19.14: lost ability to add note name in fret board ?

in 2.19.13, i was able to use this notation to show the note "g" in the dot
of a fretboard.
        (place-fret 4 0 "g" )

2.19.14 added the ability to add color but it seems i lost the ability to
add notes name.
        (place-fret 4 4 "e" blue)
