This was caused by my patch for Issue 4281, an oversight.
For now I suggest to use:
\layout {
\context {
\type "Performer_group"
\consists "Staff_performer"
\name ChordNames
\defaultchild Voice
}
}
Could you confirm that it works for you?
Then I'll put up an issue on the tracker. Patch will follow soon.
